There are eight stories in the collection featuring Jeeves as a good old-fashioned man servant to an equally old-fashioned aristocrat, Bertie.  Half the stories are about the characters Jeeves and Bertie while the others concern Reggie Pepper, an early character prior to Bertie Wooster.
